The Lady Leopards swept the Lady Wildcats in two straight games. Woods Cross coach Chris Adams was not at all pleased with her teams performance. It was really embarrassing. Nobody played well, our offense that is usually really good was not even there. We did block well but that is it. The first game began with both teams not willing to give into the other. First the Cats would start a rally, then the Leopards. At one point in the first game the Wildcats led 10-- 5 and let East back into the match, and after that the Lady Leopards took over. During that initial spurt the Cats were led by Jody Briscoe and April Taylor with some great blocks that would try to keep the rally going. East High countered with their sister combination Alberta and Kathy Fuailemaa. Alberta is a senior and showed why her leadership is so valuable to the Leopards.
