Show 6 Friday, September 24, 1993 CLIPPER Janie V. Robertson Obituaries Robert E. Dalton Robert E. Dalton died Sept. 20. 1993 in Bountiful, after a difficult battle w ith cancer. He was 58. Janie V. Robertson, former (Mrs. Dave Burningham); Dale (Shauna) Dalton; Ron (Shauna) Dalton; Andy (Katie Healy) Dalton; Annette Dalton; Jennifer Dowling: ten grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters; Carol (Hazel) Dalton; John Dalton: William was Bob born Feb. 10, 1935 in Beaver, Dennis Wilford and to Gresham, Retta Anderson (Laurel) Dalton; to age. Funeral services were held Sept. 13 at the Sandy Funeral Home in Sandy, and burial was at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma. Washington the following Helen (Mrs. Cary Perkins); David Dalton; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ida. Bob always had a great love for the outdoors and was never happier than when he was fishing, camping, or hunting. He has instilled this great love in his children. Bob was a very loving and generous man. he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. John Reed Parrish BOUNTIFUL John Reed Parrish. 77, a very unique individ- ual, passed away Sept. 21, 1993. He death was brought on by a stroke. He was born in Mountain View, Alberta, Canada, on Dec. 1915 to 4, Roseltha Ann Jordan and Ernest Parrish. He spent his first 19 years learning and loving to farm and ranch. He moved to Farmington in 1934: married Jesse P. Anderson on Oct. 15. 1937; had two children, Bob and Gayle. Jesse was killed in an auto accident Jan. I, 1939. He joined the U.S. Navy Oct., 1942. serving honorably for three years aboard the USS Sargent Bay in the South Pacific. He served an LDS mission in the Southern States Mission. He married JoAnn Christian N. and Andra B. Anderson Willardson. Self-hel- p class offered The Parent Education Resource Center is sponsoring the workshop Enhancing Self Concept and Learning. This class will include learning activities and hands on City Cemetery. Education Resource Center, Five Points Mall, (south end of the mall), 1610 S. Main, Bountiful. Cost is $3 per person or couple. (Sam) Ellis, and Eudine R. Jian. Eugene, Ore.; Judith L. (F. Don) Ellsworth. Bountiful; one brother, Tyler R. Troupe, Highland, Calif.; and two sisters, Daisy Parsons, Des Moines, Wash.; and Marguerite (William) Watson, Leavenworth. Wash, and 20' grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed and remembered always. Willardson and John and Burzell Anderson, and one cousin. Anthony Brian Anderson. Graveside services were held Thursday, Sept. 23 at Lakeview Walla Walla and had one son and four daughters. She was widowed on Aug. 10. 1937 and raised her five children and three nephews alone. She moved to Tacoma, Wash, in 1993 and ran a boarding house for many years to support her family. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Saints on July Christ of Latter-da- y 22, 1952 in Tacoma. After her family was raised, she sold her home and spent the remaining years living in the homes of her children in Oregon. California and Utah. Her family was always her highest priority and she set a wonderful example for her descendants to follow. She worked from time to time in child care and care of the elderly, where she gave tender, gentle serv ice. She was famous for her wonderful cooking, writing g and her poetry, her integrity. She lived in Bountiful from 1974 through 1989 with her daughter, Judith Ellsworth, and two local nursing homes. She moved to a nursing home in Oregon in December 1989 and livH there the remainder of her (Skip), Logan; sons, Richard sisters, Belva Pilling, Ruth Wahlstrom, Chloe Vroman, Ann Gruendel, and Fay Wolsey. He w as preceded in death by sons John Robert and Keith. Funeral services will be a.m. at the Saturday, Sept. 25 at Bountiful 11th Ward Chapel, 115 W. Wicker Lane. Friends may call Friday 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 East, and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.
