Born May 1909 1, in Bountiful to Harvey Day, Sr. and Josephine Florence Huntsman Day. Married Marvel I. Alsop. He was a interior decorator. After retirement he operated a small engine repair business. He enjoyed his peach orchard and garden. He and his wife were dose companions and really enjoyed being in the out- doors together. He is survived by a son, Richard, Murray; two daughters, Sharon Day (Henry) Schmidt, Rose Park; and Carol J. Day, Sandy; three grandchildren, Pam, Ted and Shawn; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Harvey Day, Bountiful. Preceded in death by his wife, three brothers, Alton, Wesley, and Melvin; and two sisters, Leone and Virginia. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. away Sept. 7, 1993. She was born May 6, 1932 in Ogden, a daughter of Ralph A. and Elma Poulsen Taylor. She married Archie F. Hunt, they later divorced; she married Vaughn B. Pendleton, Sept. 27, 1975 in Ogden, their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. She had lived in Plain City, Liberty, and St. George area. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in ward and stake positions; she served as a stake missionary, an ordinance worker in the Ogden Temple, served with her husband on missions to Oakland, California, Mesa, Arizona, Temple Square, Salt Lake City, and was currently serving at the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City. She was a member of the Sigma Beta Chi, Business Self-estee- Funeral services will be Friday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at Lindquists Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., Womens Sorority. She had a great love of music and singing. Survivors include her husband, Vaughn; a son, Mitchell Taylor Hunt, Plain City, Utah; daughter, Teresa Hunt Christensen, Farmington; LeeAnn F. (Pendleton) Stewart, Stanford, Fla.; DiAnn Lyn (Pendleton) Cunningham, s, Westminster, V. Maryland; and Robin (Pendleton) Kenny, Westminster, Colo.; thirteen grand- children; one parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. great-grandchil- d; Taylor, Plain City; brother, Brent Taylor, Glenns Ferry, Ida.; and sister, Jean (Taylor) Van Meeteren, Plain City. The class will be held Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the Kaysville Parent Education Resource Center, 390 S. 500 E., (across from DATC), Kaysville. Cost is $3 per person or couple. Preregistration is required and can be accomplished by visiting the PERC at 390 S. 500 E., Kaysville or by calling "Meaningful Communication with Teens," sponsored Margaret Friday, one hour prior to services. The second class is Primary Children's popular "Be A Super Sitter," which will meet on these Saturdays: Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 11. Each session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., during which participants will learn how to provide safe, yet by the Parent Education Resource Center, teaches parents how to reduce the controlling behaviors between parents and teenagers by learning to focus on and creative, intuitive responsible choices, thought processes.
