The fourth place finish came by virtue of Roys loss to Provo and the third game was never in question as Provo used it mo- mentum to coast to the victory. Im proud of all of the kids, said Kerr after the loss to Provo. These girls deserved to be here and they fought hard for what they got. Roy is not going to be overlooked anymore (in volleyball). I think the girls were tired from all the stress. We werent really up like we have been and we didnt play excited ball. Davis won its last championship in the ranks in 1976.
