Ed Kenley said growth in the . area is so great that it called for expansion of his car sales and service dealership. He and his staff have recently moved to 1888 N. Main, two blocks north of the old location ,of Ed Kenley Ford. The 8.5 acre plot houses a large k f new car facility and service area and a separate sales area for used , t cars. More than 42,000 square feet t have been devoted to the build-- t ings and six acres of asphalt sur--l 5 y rounds the shops. Kenley, who lives in West Point with his wife Julie and their two children, said his new service department contains 30 bays, two and a half times more than he previously had. The service area is the most modern in the intermountain west, he said. d It features hoists and oil storage tanks, which makes the operation environmentally safe, he added. For the convenience of customers a climatized area has been provided so paper work can be done in comfort as cars are brought in for service. Row after row of new cars are availale for customers. 'The new lot can display more than 300 new cars compared to 120 on the old lot. above-groun- The show room and offices in the new car facility were designed by Don Fredrickson with input from Kenley and his staff of managers. He said the input was important because his managers knew the best and most convenient way to set up the building for the convenience of customers. Con The used car area will house more than 100 used cars. At the old location not more than 50 could be kept. Kenley said growth in the community called for the expansion, which he began to plan about three years ago. He attributes much of the success of his dealership to the expert help of his management team and staff. Kenley began his career m auto sales in Ogden in 1971 when he went to work for Meml Bean. He worked there for 10 years. In 1981 he formed a partnership with that business to open in ' the property owned by Dennis Lowery, The planning commission rec-sommended approval of the proj- a. If a person has been inactive the machines will be enough to help and if a person has been accustomed to more exercise they can be taught to do more exercises while using the tables.
