Slaughter party refers to groups . of young teens getting together to view a number of videos with titles such as the popular Bloodsucking Freaks or The Faces of Death The videos, made of explicit depictions of human torture and death, are available in approximately 80 percent of the video stores in the Lakeside Review circulation area, a situation which has a number of county teen ' health specialists concerned. According to Len Mickel, Davis County social worker, the videos in question could leave youths who view the material with psychological damage. And this brings the question, does this type of films popularity and the rights of video stores to ' carry them outweigh the possible psychological damage they may cause? The program was presented by a group called One Voice. It was an excellent production. We are very privileged in the Clearfield area to have these free concerts each Saturday. We need to support these concerts if we want to be able to have them.
