The council told Trease they would review the request. Gauging the opinion of Roy residents, the Lakeside Review asked, What do you think about having a demolition derby track in Roy? Richard Neilson I think its a good idea. It will give something to do for the people in Roy. Of course, I dont know. Youd have people complaining about dust and stuff. For me its a good idea though. I would probably go if my grandkids wanted to go or something, my boys have all left home and all. If I had kids around who wanted to go Id go, but its not something Id really want to do personally.
