Prior to moving to Utah, they lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Western Colorado. Paul Fergeson was born Oct. 14, 1897 in Yell County, Ark., a son of Clemie Reid and Olive S. Fergeson. Mrs. Fergeson, the former Reada Rozell Graves, was born April 13, 1902, in Gray County, Kan., a daughter of Alfred and Emma Allphin Graves. They are the parents of nine sons, five of which are living: Harold H. Fergeson, Grand Junction, Colo.; Alfred O. Fergeson, Delta, Colo.; Marvin J. Fergeson, Salt Lake City; Bennie L. Fergeson, Roy; and Stephen L. Fergeson, Clearfield. The bride is the daughter of Bryan and Katherine Gardner, 606 DeSoto Street, Salt Lake City. The groom is the son of Wallace J. and JaNeen Kidd, 547 Kingston Avenue, Layton. A reception and wedding breakfast to honor the couple was held at the Lions House. After a honeymoon trip to California, the couple will make their home in Salt Lake. The wedding ceremony was performed by Marion D. Hanks. The newlyweds are attending the University of Utah. She is a member of Lamba Delta Sigma and a graduate of West High School. He served an LDS mission in Independence, Missouri and is a graduate of Layton High School. Open House to Honor Womans 80th Birthday KAYSVILLE An open house to honor Leone Nance Gardner for her 80th birthday, will be held at her home, 290 E. 2nd N., Kaysville, on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 3 to 5 p.m. Mrs. Gardner was born on Sept. 28, 1905, a daughter of Adolph Wilburn Nance and Elizabeth Minnie Nance in Kaysville, where she also spent her childhood. She married Lewis James Gardner on Sept. 30, 939, in Evanston, Wyo. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in 1951. They are parents of two daughters: Mrs. Jerry (Bonnie) Kirkpatrick of Kaysville, and Mrs. Rick (Mariann) Thorson of Layton.
