During his first term, Dickamore served on the Revenue and Taxation and Transportation and Public Safety Standing committees of the Utah House and on the joint Transportation and Public Safety Appropriations Committee. He also served on a special committee that worked on the flooding legislation. Dickamore said that as a member of the Taxation and Revenue Committee he has worked with local government officials to help them solve part of their revenue concerns. The committee has also worked on legislation to provide alternative sources of revenues to help meet the critical flooding problems. Having served in local government, in education and in agriculture, Dickamore said he is s concerned with that impact these areas and will continue to work to help solve the many problems faced by the people of these communities, Davis County and the state. He added that he is committed to a program of economic growth and development to ensure that Utah and Davis county has a strong and sound future for all. 260-poun- won in eight categories. Wendy Mower, Farmington, received a $300 scholarship. Miss Mower is attending Brigham Young University. Christine Gwynn of Bountiful also received a $300 scholarship and will be attending the University of Utah. Miss Gwynn and Shannon Eccels, Bountiful, each received a charm bracelet for 300 hours of service. Cory Leishman, Centerville, president of the Junior Volunteers, received her 500 hour pin.
