All dates are inclusive and applications must be in the Salt Lake Office of the Division of Fish and Game by 12:00 midnight on the last day stated. Applications must be made by mail only on the special form available from license agents and Fish and Game offices. Separate application forms must be submitted for each type of permit requested. Applications for antelope, moose, buffalo, and bighorn must be for one person only; dual applications will not be accepted. Dual application maybe made for restricted area elk permits. The career producer has been credited with more than 100,000 lbs. of milk output under official testing supervision. The owner, William Garry Brown, has been notified that Ollie 5546753 (EX), has produced 113,190 lbs. of milk and 3,669 lbs. of butterfat in 2,198 days since becoming two years of age. Because of current replacement heifer rearing and purchase costs, cows that stay in the herd longer and achieve high lifetime production levels have proven to be more profitable. The Holstein Association has 35,500 cows on file that have attained the production milestone. Production levels of this magnitude can be attributed to scientific advances in feeding and management practices coupled with the genetic improvement and longevity of Registered Holsteins. Ranger Raymond J. Evans of the Uinta National Forest announces that a new campground is now opened to the public at Bryants Fork on Strawberry Reservoir. He said that the new facility, which has room for 62 families, is designed to provide sanitary facilities for the National San-taqu- in, Wil-O-A- Forest users. Ranger Evans stated that this new facility is temporary pending the enlargement of Strawberry Reservoir in connection with C.U.P. beginning. The purpose of this closure is to prevent health and sanitation problems from in this unimproved area. He continued by noting that new camping facilities will be opened at the same time at Bryants Fork Campground which will provide sufficient facilities for National F orest users.
