rE 2QQ1 m E D IGA IIS R EC I A II I STS These medical specialists are available at Delta Community Medical Center and Fillmore Community Medical Center Call the number listed for an appointment AUDIOLOGY Jeff Manwanng 15 Febmary 29 Delta Fillmore ELECTROMYOGRAPHYNERVE Knox Huntsman Douglas Doyle Dillon was returned to Fillmore for sentencing Dillon has been incarcerated in the Iron County Jail since Jan 7 0 Dillon was charged with one count of a class Two felony Theft three counts of a class Three felony Burglary two counts of a class Three felony Theft Defense Attorney James Slavens gotiated with the prosecuting attorneys for a plea bargain On recommendations from Prosecutors and Millard and Iron County deputies the charges were duced to one count of a misdemeanor A Burglary and two counts of a misdemeanor A Theft Judge James R Taylor explained to Dillon that the court does not have to accept the plea bargain ommendations that he can impose any or all of the penalties and the maximum alties are a fine of $4685 for each charge and 12 months in the MCJ for each charge which could run consecutively Prior to sentencing Slav ens explained to the court that his motel currently rents to personnel working at the Cheese Plant and this could possibly be a conflict in interest Judge James R Taylor asked Dillon if he had a problem with that Di Ion responded that he did not have a problem with Slavens renting rooms to the plant personnel V Judge Taylor insisted that Dillon pay full restitution to the victims (Layton Construction CCI Mechanical and GSL Electrical) Prosecuting Attorney Brent Berkley said that there were four item found in Dillon”s truck they were a pod bolt cutters jig saw and a measuring stick Other items were stolen but have not been located A hearing will be held in the near future to establish the full value of the restitution Judge Taylor explained Dillon ”s Constitutional Rights Dillon pleaded guilty to the charges For each charge Dillon was given 2 months in the MCJ and a fine of $2500 This sentence was suspended Dillon was given six months in the MCJ with credit given for jail time served pay full restitution and 24 months supervised probation by Adult Probation and Parole Violation of probation and Dillon reverts back to the original sentence After Dillon leaves the MCJ he is still facing charges in Iron and Washington Counties and possibly other states An investigation is continuing on where the remaining tools are and how Dillon “fences” the stolen property Conventional wisdom indicates he was selling the equipment in swap meets and flee markets CONDUCTION TESTING Richard MS Nielsen PT 4 Delta February Fillmore FAMILY PRACTICE D Grose MD Jackson MD FAAFP G Limburg MD FAAFP Craig Brent M David M T W Th Alt M T -
