ID and on to Idaho Falls ID for Memorial Day They encountered a blizzard before reaching ID While there Ralph’s Malta youngest grandson was involved in a horse race accident He ended up with a concussion and had to stay in the hospital He is doing all right at this time Ralph and June also visited her brother Don Davis and wife LaRene CA They were in from Petaluma West Jordan visiting her parents Mrs Stan Lundgreen Cecil and Barbara Shurtz had her sister Mona and Clair Brunson from Salt Lake visit with them over the Memorial Day weekend and Coleen Jurgens of Chuck Hyland and Alden and Ina Shurtz of Alpine visited the Shurtz families and Losees over the holiday Mrs Sarah Fowles was home over the weekend program group singing talks by Emv deGraffenried Sue Koyle Shumway and Bishop Vednon Christensen The baby daughter of Sue and Douglas Whitaker was blessed and given the name of April Whitaker by her grandfather Melvin Whitaker on Sunday June 5 The missionary farewell for Elder Darren Perkins son of Lynn and Terry Perkins will be held Sunday June 12 at 12 in the Kanosh Ward Chapel Carl and Lueda Blad will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary at a party on Wed June 8 from 7 to 9 pm at the Kanosh Cultural Hall Willard and Dathel Whitaker will also be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary at a party on Fri June 10 from 7 to 10 pm at the Kanosh Cultural Hall The doctors’ appointments Gene and Carol Bishop have had as many of their children with them this week as could be here to help them through this time of sorrow My heart goes out to the Bishop family Diane Blake and little sons Christopher and Eric are spending a week in Springville with Diane’s parents Dan and Holly Joseph have gone to Seattle to be with family this week They are attending a Karolee Harding daughter of Art and Paye Harding graduated The Hardings returned to Kanosh to pack their trailer to head for Minersville Reservoir for 3 days of fishing Pulling another trailer were Mildred’s brother Jean Prows and wife Lucille who spent Fri Sat & Sun with the Hardings fishing The MotherDaughter Campout at Adelaide Park on Friday June 3 was a success The Bishopric prepared dutch
