Attendants to the oval couple will be Elaine Cham-- a berlain, Yvonne Chamberlain, Wilraa Howard, Laurelle Leany, Elma Ann McArthur, and Ina Reber. Mr. Cottam and Miss Seegmiller, with their attendants, will reigr over all activities of the annual lestival of fine arts at Dixie col-rlege. The festival will be officially opened this week with a matinee Goodbye, My performance of Fancy, this years play selection. A joint instrumental dance and ocal concert will be presented on Wednesday evening in the recrea-o- tion hall under the direction of William Purdy, Connie Corbett, and Quentin Nordgren. The pro-r- gram will feature outstanding numbers representing these three departments at the school. The festival play, Godbye, My wil be presented on Fancy, Thursday night at 8 p. m. and again on Saturday night at 8 p. m. in the college auditorium. The Fay Kanin comedy, a recent Broadway hit, features Miss Teddy Sue Seeg-r- t miller in the role of Agatha Red, a congresswoman who returns to her alma mater to receive on hon-ioorary degree. A fine arts assembly will be presented in the college auditori-d- o um at 11 a. m. on Friday morning February 4. Climax of the festival will be the Final cast selections were announced this week for the forthcoming production of Kiss Me, Kate at Dixie college. Dixie College Selects Dixie Rebels Take Lead Fine Arts Watercolor Over Carbon Eagle Threat an original Aspens, Elverta Jacobson, watercolor by has been presented to the Dixie college art department for their permanent collection by the artist. Miss Jacobsen, one of the states best watercolorists, has been a loyal supporter of the annual Finea Arts festival at the school for number of years. Leading the Rebels attack in this game was Daniel Miles, with six field goals and nine out of twelve foul tries, for twenty-on- e bepoints. Scott Graff was closeseven and field six hind with goals out of nine foul tries for nineteen points. Bryant Soloman hit seven field goals for fourteen points, and George LeBaron followed with twelve points by hitting on three field goals and six out of seven fouls.
