Show The Dixie Owl, St, George, Utah 25 CALENDER March 31, 1920. We are given the privilege of enjoying a nice afternoon on the D. It is not known which was enjoyed most, the beautiful afternoon, beneficial walk, or appetizing lunch but is believed that the last claimed the majority of votes. April 1. We are most fortunate in being able to enjoy a wonderful entertainment of the Salt Lake Quintette which consti- tutes our last lyceum number. Its purpose to raise the standard of music, was fully accomplished, not mentioning thie appeal it sent, which almost caused us to quit Algebra and try music. April 5, 1920. The Fourth Years justly claim first place in the interclass track meet. May their victory mean as much to them as the winning of second place means to the First Years. April 6, 1920. There is no mistake about it, we envy the Junior High School students of their complete success, which was obtained thru the presentation of the operetta, Love Pirates of Hawaii. April 14, 1920. If anyone, after seeing the play, One of the Eight, has failed to appreciate its value enough to contend that Dixie has no talent, they had best beware for thejr will be hung on the pitchfork of Old Master Devil, who can act as well off as on the stage. Say, Rod, is that bay rum on your dresser? No, its mucilage. Rodney. Bill. No wonder I cant get my hat off. Bill. |
