Show The Dixie Owl, St. George, Utah 23 Some of our crew were timid and afraid to leave the shore, But we didnt have a limit and who could ask for more? I havent time to make this rhyme ; I havent goodness knows, if So, its agreed, the rest youll read in very common prose. The first addition to our crew to give it stability was Miss Gardner and Mr. Nicholes for our class parents. Then, accompanied with dignity befitting our exalted status, we conducted our election ceremonies. The result of this was a lively bunch of officers worthy of any class. With these folks to steer us straight we stepped on the r, give er the gas, and with a gentle purr continued our journey through the land of 1920. We stopand had a party. You know what that ped after means, without an explanation. Suffice it to say that it was a real Second Year party, and that those who didnt go died with regret. The next thing we did is worthy of even basketgreater than Second Years. We won the inter-clas- s death-defyinmost ball championship. It was the g and spectacle we have ever witnessed. And when we started on our trip again a big, blue pennant floated from the windshield. Our next stop was New Years night when we gave the hungry public the privilege of attending our New Years Ball. A few days after which we gave a program in Devotional. Now weve come to the end of the road, Mr. Editor, and can see the village of Success not far off. It is true weve had two or three punctures and have to make the home run on the rims but, our engine is throbbing yet, and hope and determination have not forsaken us. Though our radiator leaks and theres a crack in the windshield, our green and white colors are fresh as ever. Even spring is wearing them in honor of our safe arrival.
