GEORGE, UTAH FOURTH YEAR NOTES Oh tis joy to be in Dixie; Just to be there in the spring In the merry, merry springtime, To hear the glad birds sing; To see the pink buds bursting, And breathe their rich perfume. Oh tis joy to be in Dixie, Where all nature is in tune. Hark, is that rain, softly falling? Theres a rainbow in the sky. And the clouds of billowy vapor So silently flit by. How warm the sun shines on us! How soft the cool breeze blows ! Was nature ever lovelier? The world with joy oerflows. Pattie Proo. Heres to the class that has been loyal, is loyal and will be loyal to our Dixie! We, as the High School graduates, are lothe to leave our school. Four of our happiest years have been spent within its walls ; lasting friendships have been formed there and ideals implanted within us which we hope will add a splendor to our coming years. But the Dixie grows and we hope to keep pace with it. Theres the College just ahead of us: May we all keep climbing. o-- o Work has been completed on the paved walk which connects the old building with the new one. In choosing a memorial we have left something that is not only of a practical value, but adds to the beauty of the school grounds. o-- o The fourth years havent been asleep, after all Chester Snow and Elmer Taylor won the high school debate against the Branch Agricultural !
