DEAR HELOISE: At the end of 1985, when I took down the old calendar to put up a new one, I looked at it, thought it was too nice to throw away and wondered what I could do with it. The calendar already had some recipes on it. so I decided to paste the recipes I had filed in my recipe box on the pages. separated by category. It worked out great and now they are much easier to find. Also the box Alma of cluttered recipes is gone. Wetherholt DEAR HELOISE: Here is a recipe for cinnamon toast which is no fuss-n- o muss. My children loved it as do the grandchildren now, when visiting. It is a mixture which can be spread just like butter. Fact is, it is called Cinnamon Butter. The ingredients are: one half pound I ,,, juni- or-sized confectioners' sugar. one half pound margarine and three tablespoons of ground einnaM011. This is the amount of cinnamon I use but you can add as much or as little as you like. Mix with an electric mixer. This will make about 20 ounces. Store in a container and keep refrigerated. It will keep indefinitely. if kept hidden. Delicious on toast. Heloise Lueckel Sure like your recipe and your Heloise name! tool,,da Lir has an DEAR IIELOISE: I have an enamel painted sink which shows scratches and stains very easily. Nothing at the market seemed to clean it very well so I tried my automatic dishwashing detergent and it works like a charm. I sprinkled some on a wet sponge and applied it with a little elbow grease! It cleans and shines without scratching, works well on my tub too for soap scum and rust deposits.
