Approval of Salt Lake City's petition for 20,000 acre feet assures the Metropolitan Water District that sufficient supplies of water will be available in the 21st Century. The water is not expected to be needed until the year 2005. Witnesses told police that Mr. Trujillo and Mr. Healey had argued in the tavern before the incident and that Mr. Healey had sought bar patrons to "kick the Mexican out of the bar." Trujillo walked toward a restroom in the back of the tavern, the two men allegedly approached him and spun him around. Mr. Bragg allegedly fired a pistol, and the bullet struck Mr. Trujillo in the stomach, said a report at the Salt Lake City Police Department. Mr. Healey allegedly kicked and struck Mr. Trujillo after he fell wounded and knocked him down when he tried to rise. Both men left the bar after the incident but were arrested as they walked westbound near 135 S. 300 As Mr. West. 4184., DIAMOND 1875 Ea. 4800 So. joit,) 278-265- JOHN DEERE) Rental & Sales 8600 So. 700 Ea. The county water district hopes to eventually purchase 50,000 acre feet of CUP water. The additional water will be available as the treatment plant is expanded and the Jordanelle Dam is completed at a site near Heber City.
