Sunday, October Hes No Member, Group Says - SPRINGVILLE (UPI) The president of a group opposed to the income tax and paper money says his organization has nothing to do with Dan Lafferty, a candidate for Utah County sheriff arrested recently for numerous traffic violations. Gene M. Ereksen, president of Patriots United for Freedom (PUFF), said Lafferty is not a member of his organization as was reported following an incident in Springville Justice of the Peace Court in which some of Laffertys backers tried to place the judge under "citizens arrest.
