A. Richardson, Rich-ardson, in charge of farm management manage-ment work for Utah. Not more than forty representative farmers from the county can enter the demonstration. These must make application through their county agent. Free books will be furnished each farmer cooperating, through the courtesy of the Utah Bankers' Association. The aim of these farm management demonstrations is to so organize the business of farming that the farmer can tell just as much about the financial finan-cial condition of his farm as can the merchant of his store. The Introduc tion of the simple set of rarm accounts ac-counts worked out will enable the farmer to tell just what part of his farm is profit making, what features are losing him money, what interest his capital is paying, and what his labor income is. With this knowledge at his disposal, the farmer can reorganize re-organize his farming business for much greater efficiency. The demonstrations will start in January. The Farm Bureau of this county might well make farm management man-agement demonstration one of its big projects. All farmers interested should see their county agent at once and talk over the matter. |
