Show ifomty gk EMERY i I 4 An Old Folks party will be given la Emery on Friday evening, January 11. commencing at 11 o'clock, under the auspices of the Old Folks committee, which includes the following: A. J, Broderick, Mrs. Luella Christensen, and Mrs. Alice Simonsen. All persons over the age of 65 years, together with the widows and widowers, and the members of the bishopric, will be the guests of honor and will be treated with all cordiality during the day. The entertainment will begin with a short meeting consisting of musical numbers, num-bers, short speeches, and readings. A hot dinner will be served at 1 p. m., after which amusements, consisting of games, etc., will be conducted until evening, when a married people'e dance will be given. Mrs. Harden W. Williams, whose husband is at Camp Lewis, gave birth to a baby girl on Christmas eve, and has been very seriously ill ever since. She Is at present considered as being out of danger and on the road to recovery, re-covery, however. Dr. Easley has been called over several sev-eral times lately to attend to Mrs. Anna An-na AnderBon, who has been in 111 health. A baby girl was .born last week to Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Abelin Clinton Broderick has Joined the student host from Emery and will attend at-tend the A. C. at Logan during the remainder re-mainder of the school year. Mrs. Rhoda Nielson from Mayfield is visiting relatives and friends in Emery Em-ery at present. Mrs. Eva Killpack of Ferron is an Emery visitor. |
