Show SCHOOL BOARD MEETS Among the items of business transacted trans-acted at the meeting of the Emery county school board, held at Huntington Hunt-ington Jan. 3d, were the following: Vacancy in the school at Ferron, caused by the enlistment of Stanley Nelson, was filled by the transfer of Russel Williams, also teaching at Ferron, Fer-ron, to the Emery school, releasing J. C. Ralphs, who, with Mrs. Ralphs, who is an experienced teacher, will be employed in the Ferron school. Saturday school, sessions were done away with at Mohrland on request of the people there, the school term to be lengthened accordingly. Kmployment of teachers for the 1918-1919 school year- will be taken up at the next regular meeting (Feb. 5th.) |
