The alleged livestock losses are not detailed. The petition also cites alleged "racist acts of oil company workers toward Indian persons, including a fight March 22 lietween Indians and workers and an incident March 13 in which a worker allegedly shot at an Indian Texaco officials could not be reached for comment late Thursday. Byrd said members of the group met Thursday with tribal attorney Michael Stuff and with Samuel Pete, assistant to MacDonald. He said group spokesman Larry Anderson indicated the protesters would picket the Texaco plant Friday to prevent a return to work by employees.
