Show One of the wonders of this part of the world is the way the frost has stayed away this fall. It is now almost the middle of October and pumpkin vines are still green. There was a little nip of frost the early part of September which did a little damage to tender plants, they were not killed however and are still growing. It has been a wonderful favor to those who had crops to ripen or wanted to mature seed or hay. The third crop of hay is quite plentiful and second crop seed is a success suc-cess this year. It is not often we have a fall like this in this altitude, but not enough is said at any time about the splendid climate we have here. Especially Es-pecially in the fall is the weather fine. |
