Show STRONG TICKET NOMINATED NOMI-NATED IN CAUCUS FUSION TICKET FOR TOWN BOARD For President JOHN P. PEARSON For Members of Board ANDREW JOHANSEN NEPHI L. WILLIAMS JOHN Y. JENSEN PETER TOLBOE The above unusually strong ticket was placed in nomination last Saturday evening eve-ning when the postponed caucus of the local republican and democratic parties was held in the courthouse. There were not many present but both parties were about equally represented. No signs of partisanship were in evidence, and the one object seemed to be to nominate good men for the places. This spirit seems to have prevailed, too, for in the men selected, we have an excellent board of trustees. O. Sorenson, Jr., acted as chairman of the meeting, and A. E. Walk Jr., as secretary. The name of J. P. Pearson presented by M. A. Anderson, received re-ceived the unanimous vote of those present, as did Andrew Johansen, nominated nomi-nated by Silas Shiner, Nephi L. Williams, Wil-liams, nominated by Hyrum Rismussen. John Y. Jensen, nominated by A. E. Wall, and Peter Tolboe, nominated by A. D. Dickson. On motion of A. D. Dickson, the preceding niminations were voted as the unanimous choice of the democratic and republican parties of Castledale. A committee composed of A. D. Dickson, Dick-son, 0. Sorenson, J., and George N. Kofford, was named to fill any and all vacancies chancing to occjr in the list nominated. There is one registration day remaining, remain-ing, viz., next Tuesday, and all those Whose names do not appear as qualified voters will thus have another chance to register before the municipal election to be held November Tth, in the Jsocia' hall |
