I " Pauline Applegate Edith Helen Pauline Betenson Applegate, age 88, died Wednesday, August 16, 2000 in Kanab, Utah. Bom October 29, 1911 in Circleville, Utah to Lula Parker and Joseph Betenson. Married Lewis Applegate November 22, 1933 in Richfield, Utah. He died August 29, 1996. Pauline was raised in the Circleville area, and graduated Scott (Mariam) Betenson of Kanab, Utah, and John Betenson of Circleville, Utah; sister Barbara Carlson of Salt Lake City, Utah; grandchildren Charles Applegate, James (Trisha) Applegate, Sydnee (Dale) Edman, Ashlee Applegate and Christian Applegate; and Ryan Ellee Parker Edman, Applegate, Anne Edman and Ian Lerch. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 22, 2000 in the Kanab Utah Stake Center, with burial in the Krnab Cemetery under the direction of Mosdell great-grandchildr- en Mortuary.
