Free use permits allow the permit holder to cut and remove fuelwood from specific free use areas designated on the North Kaibab RD. There is no charge for free use permits. Due to the extreme fire season efforts .and fires in Montana and Idaho. This has left limited personnel in the North Kaibab RD Office, at least for the next three-fou- r weeks. Because of this, Jill Leonard, North Kaibab District Ranger, is encouraging members ofthe public that desire to obtain them to getthem from the BLM Kanab Field Office or the Kaibab Plateau Visitor Center.
