Second place Bronze. 9-1- 3, Congratulations to Tara Heaton, who earned a position as a State Officer. Valley competed with some 4A and 5A schools. The collective efforts from stu- dents and advisor Dot Heaton will place many in first positions at the Florida Nationals. Students are earning money to finance the trip to finals. Any help w'ould be greatly appreciated. Janna Glover qualifies for state This beaming young lady won first place with her solo piano performance in competition at Tuacahn, opening the door for her advancement to state music finals. Way to go Janna! presents The Valley High School FCCLA team that competed in State Competition. Heaton awarded Outstanding Scholar Athlete Caroline Heaton, a graduate of Valley High School, was awarded the Outstanding Scholar Athlete award at the annual Rebel Awards Night on April 10 at Dixie College. She has been on the high honor roll each semester. She will graduate Suinina Cum Laude with a 3.90 grade point average this spring. She was womens basketball 2nd Team this year.
