The plan amendment would also provide for other recreation activities, provide guidance for development of additional recreation facilities, improve public safety, and coordinate management of the areas with the Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. Joint management would include a single collection of use fees, the completion of a new day-us- e area, and addition of new camp sites in the future. User fees will remain at the Sand Dunes to be used to fund improvements and new facilities. Camping and riding rules will become standardized for both BLM and State Park lands. Deputy Director of Utah State Division of Parks & Recreation Dave Morrow said, The Utah Division of Parks and Recreation is proud of the outcome achieved in a cooperative planning effort at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. The joint effort between Utah State Parks and Recreation, and the Bureau of Land Management has been exceptional. It is virtually impossible to deal with the management of the dunes in a unilateral fashion since there is no distinctive physical T feature that clearly defines the boundaries between state and federal jurisdiction. The focus has been on resolving problems rather than battling over turf. This planning process included a good deal of publicconstituent involvement and input sensitive to the differences between user groups, and providing some separation of use yet allowing continued access to the dunes by everyone," said Morrow. We are encouraged by the level of cooperation between state and local officials and the federal government, and wehope the same degree of cooperation can be realized in other areas of the state." The plan will also implement the Conservation Agreement and Strategy for the Coral Pink Sand Dunes Tiger Beetle, and enhance management of the threatened Welshs milkweed. 0 Remodel or Landscape Consolidate debt Any other need. . .
