He was bom on January 20, 1921 in Flagstaff, AZ to Rosalina Hyrski and John Lukus. He married Edith Evelyn Sjodin, October 22, 1940 in Gallup, New Mexico. She died June 18, 1997. He was a World War II veteran of the Air Force. Bob was a member of the Local 428 Heavy Equipment Operators Union since 1942. He drove a logging truck as an independent contractor for 25 years, part of that time for Kaibab Industries in Fredonia. He was a very skilled driver who enjoyed his lifes work.
