There will be no admission charge. Although the oratorio is not specifically a Christmas program, the Messiah has become a Christmas tradition in Kanab and around the world. The musical director is Kortney Stirland, who is a Kanab pharmacist and community booster. The 40 piece orchestra is made up of musicians from Cedar City, Hurricane, Long Valley, Panguitch, Fredonia, Page and Kanab. The chorus members are from Panguitch, Alton, Long Valley, Hurricane, St. George and K&nab. The special evening, sponsored by Kanab Utah LDS Stake, is as is the chorus and orchestra.
