The location of the garden is behind the Montezuma Apartments. It has been donated by Lynette Fosters family, who is also providing a temporary place for Helping Hands. We are in need of volunteers to come and help us turn this land into the best community garden around. People are needed to help weed, spread manure, till the soil and prepare it to be planted. A hole needs to be dug for compost. Plants, seeds, help with plant- ing and watering are also needed. This garden will be open to all people to share. Great for youth service projects, our elderly who love to work in gardens, and haveexperience and knowledge in this area a chance to share it with others. Also for individuals, families, churches, clubs, schools and organizations to work together. So grab your shovels, hoes, rakes, etc. and come on out. We need your help! Helping Hands as we reach out to help and love each other.
