Heaton. Mom was met in Heaven j i f1 If W Jennie Brown Jennie Heaton Brown, 91, by a granddaughter, her parents, a sister, Kay Hood and her brothers, Leonard, Clifford, Richard and Kelly. Funeral services were held November 17 at the Moccasin Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Moccasin Cemetery under the direction of the Mosdell Mortuary. Jennie was bom at Moccasin, AZ., August 15, 1904 to Charles Carroll and Margaret Cox Heaton. She was Rubin Lee DeJardo the second child, first daughter, Rubin Lee DeJardo of Big of ten children. Jennie served honorably for Water, Utah passed away on two years in the Central States November 8, 1995 at SamariMission. To this loving home came seven children. Jennie attended school in Moccasin and St. George Dixie Academy. She felt it a wonderful accomplishment to complete a high school diploma by correspondence. Later in life, she completed a home study Practical Nursing course and assisted many in Moccasin with those skills. Her hands were never idle. She crocheted, embroidered and always maintained a vegetable garden, a beautiful flower garden , and kept her home and yard neat and orderly. Her greatest joy was her family and giving to others. As an active member of the Church, her life was centered on Christ, serving in all capacities. For most of her life she also served as organist and chorister. She and her husband especially enjoyed their temple service and being ordinance workers in the St. George Temple for five and one half years. Jennie loved children and was an ideal grandmother to her own grandchildren as well as to many other children. Her life is a testimony of Christlike love, leaving a legacy of the Gospel to her posterity. Mom has gone home to prepare a place for her eternal companion and their family; Lorenzo and Garol Brown ofWest Valley Colleen E. Sorensen Colleen E. Sorensen passed away on November 12, 1995, in the Kane County Hospital. She was born March 17, 1925, to Fernard Merle and Kezia Ann Chamberlain in Esplin Orderville, Utah, the third child in a family of nine. She graduated from Valley High. Colleen married Earl Sorensen on May 1, 1943, in the St. George Temple. They are the parents of three children, Suzanne and Dale Brinkerhoff, Cedar City; DarLynn and Arlene Sorensen, Orderville and Fernard Alex Sorensen (deceased). Colleen held many ward and stake positions in the LDS church. She especially enjoyed teaching the Spiritual Living lesson in Rethe Army, then transferred into lief Society. He is also survived by his sister Evelyn Kessler of Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters. He requested that there be no services. His philosophy of life was to live and let live.
