The matter will be on the agenda for the February 27 meeting. A jail agreement was secured with Ida Black, Fredonia Justice Judge, for use of the Kane County Jail for short term housing of Arizona prisoners. The commission approved this pact. Farm loans require crop insurance coverage Any producer who anticipates applying for a farm loan from U SDA must obtain ait least Catastrophic (CAT) crop insurance coverage on all crops of economic significance. This coverage must be obtained before the sales closing date for the producers par- ticular crops. The earliest sales closing date in this area is March 15, 1995. This date is crucial because once it passes and the loan applicant has crops without CAT coverage, they will likely have to wait until the following crop year to be eligible for loan assistance. Further information about the coverage can be obtained from any local crop insurance agent or the CFSA office. |
