SECOND GRADE students Lori Nixon, Tonya Bennett, Scott Vaughn, Mark Hansen, and Stephanie YanZyl are helping to keep the litterbugs away from Valley View Elementary School as they participate in the SCIP activities. Teachers in the second grade, Mrs. Shirley Hyde, Mrs. Dorothy Jones and Mrs Patricia Wintle, report that the students are quite interested in the activities that in elude them in the community improvement program. Mr. Crawley was born Feb. 16, 1932, in Kaysville, a son of William F. and Nora May Porter Crawley. He was married to LaMoine . .Petterborg on Aug. 13, 1955, in Elko, Nev. They were later divorced. He was a yard and shop foreman at the A and K Railroad Materials Inc. at Freeport Center. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the Navy from Jan. 19, 1951, to May 8, 1953. He had lived in Kaysville for 23 years, Layton 13 years, Denver three years and the past two years in Clearfield.
