Viewmont H.S. will The week of January 28 through February 2, 1985 has been declared Davis County Alcohol and Drug Awareness Week by local members of the Governor's Youth Council on Alcohol hold an evening assembly at 7 p.m. for their student body and interested adults. Featured speaker. is Austin Chiles, Ph.D., of Davis County Mental Health Center. Mr. Chiles has worked extensively with youth and parents to prevent drug or alcohol problems. Tuesday, January 29: Davis H.S. will have ice skating and swimming activities at the Bountiful Bubble to highlight fun alternatives to doing drugs. Wednesday, January 30: Viewmont H.S. hosts A Night At the Movies, 7 p.m. in the school library. The South Davis Parent Support Group will invite a guest and Drugs. All area high schools and two parent organizations. Region III PTA and the South Davis Parent Support Group, will be participating in special events throughout the week to spotlight the need for youth and adults in Davis County to get involved and support lo- efforts to prevent or reduce alcohol and drug usage among Davis area young people. .Monday, January 28: Members of ATAC at Davis H.S. will conduct an alcohol and drug school cal. -- speaker to address the topic of Adolescent .Use of Alcohol The Parent's Perspective at their regular 7 p.m. meeting at Woods Cross H.S.
