His farewell will be held Jan. 20 in the Kaysville 4th Ward at 875 E. 200 N., Kaysville, at 1 p.m. He enters the Mission Training Center Jan. 31. Elder Cottrell has graduated from Davis High and attended the LDS Seminary'. He played football and soccer for Davis High. He was also involved in student government as first vice president. He has served as first assistant to the bishop in the priest quorum. He is employed at the Utah Department of Transportation. An open house will be held for family and friends following the meeting at his home. Sister Valerie Aurich, daughter of Jimmie and Diane Aurich, has been called to serve the Chile Concepcion Mission. Prior to her Jan. 24, departure for the MTC, Sister Aurich will speak at the Clearfield Stake House2nd Ward on 935 So. State, Clearfield, at 3:50 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary following the farewell at her home, 1085 So. 1075 E., Clearfield. A member of the Clearfield 2nd Ward, the new missionary is a graduate of Ricks College with an associates degree and attended one quarter at Weber State College. She is a graduate of Clearfield High School. Elder Russell W. Asplund, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Asplund has been called to serve the South Carolina, Columbia Mission. Prior to his Jan. 31 departure for the MTC, Elder Asplund will speak at the Layton 3rd Ward, Cherry Lane Chapel on Jan. 20 at 2:50 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to meet with the missionary Friday, Jan. 25 at 2262 E. 1200 No. from 7 to 9 p.m. A member of the Layton 3rd LDS Ward, the new missionary has been attending the Brigham Young University. He is a graduate of Layton High School and LDS Seminary. Elder Kenton Ellis Frandsen has accepted a call to the Lima Peru South Mission for the LDS Church. He will enter the Mission Home Jan. 17. Kenton is a graduate of Davis High and is a certified emergency medical technician. He is the son of Herman and Lois Frandsen, a member of Fruit Heights 3rd Ward and he is employed by Richard Seager. Elder John V. Coy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale V. Coy has been called to serve the New York, g misNew York, sion. Prior to his Jan. 24 departure for the MTC, Elder Coy spoke at the Roy 16th Ward on Jan. 13. A member of the Roy 16th Ward, the new missionary is an Eagle Scout and has attended We Greek-speakin- ber State College and is currently working at Nice Corp. He is a graduate of Roy High School. Elder Thomas C. Zaugg, son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Zaugg hss been called to serve the Venezuela, Maracaibo Mission. Prior to his Jan. 17 departure for the MTC, Elder Zaugg spoke at the Syracuse 4th LDS Ward. A member of the Syracuse 4th Ward, the new missionary has been attending Brigham Young University and working for TRW. He is a graduate of Clearfield High School. Elder David G. Schramm son of Clarence F. and Doris Jean Schramm, has been called to serve in the Italy Catania LDS Mission. Prior to his January 24th departure for the MTC, Elder Schramm will speak at the Fruit Heights 4th Ward on January 20 at 10:40 a.m. Kaysville East Stake Center on 6th East. An open house will follow at the Schramms home, 14 North Heartwood Street, Fruit Height for family and friends. A member of the Fruit Heights 4th Ward, Elder Schramm is a 1983 graduate of Davis High School and has attended Weber State College and is currently employed at El Matador in Bounti. ful.
