Charter member of Sorel-1- a DAmerica Lodge 31 where she served as financial secretary for 57 years. Survived by her mother (age 102), Helper, daughter and husband, Gloria and John Skerl, Spring Glen; six grandchildren, Trudy Basetto, Jona Skerl, Michael Skerl, Lisa Skerl, Richard Heller and Cheryl Burgess; also survived by four one brother and two sisters, David Seppi, Jackson, Calif.; Ann Oppocher, Price; and Ida Bruno, Hemmitt, Calif. He married Liles Emaline Tucker, who later died in 1935. Later married Annie Vemice Eden at Cleveland, Sept. 30, 1939; later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. As an active member of the LDS Church, he served as bishop, high counselor, stake mission president and served a mission to New York City with his wife, Vernice. He was a retired coal miner and worked many years as a farmer. Survived by wife, Vemice, of Cleveland; children, Larna Jensen, of Elmo; Dan Wells, Catherine Casutt and James Wells, all Cleveland; John Wells of North Salt Lake; 23 grandchildren; 25 sis- ter, Edith Marsing of Ogden; Elverna Sally" Eaton of California; brothers, Doug Wells, of South Weber; Jerry Wells, Salt Lake; Bill Wells, Boulder.
