Smith on Saturday, Jan. 18. The couple will be married at St. Anthonys Catholic Church at 3 p.m., with a reception to follow at the Helper Civic Auditorium. The couple plan to make their home in Helper. Mike is employed at UP&L, and Cindy teaches at Westridge Middle School. Valerie Trujillo and Duke Pilling are happy to announce Saturday, Jan. 18, as their wedding day. The couple will be honored at a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, w ith dancing from 8 until midnight. Fairbanks, a resident of Orange- ville, recently completed recruit training. During the training cycle at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, recruits are taught the basics of battlefield survival, introduced to typical military daily routine and personal and professional standards.
