Show 4B THE GREEN SHEET Thursday, July 31, 1986 Milestoimes v'Y'rv,v,vhfr'' Those Time Warps Can Be Tricky Things The other day I impatiently sat in my car at a certain spot on the corner of 4500 South and 900 East. Impatient because for almost five minutes I had been trying to break into the fast moving traffic and was foiled at every turn. As I sat there, however, the traffic problem suddenly was gone. Sometimes it comes back with the edge of a sword, cutting us with memories we wish would stay tucked away in the past. Hurting us again with the old pain we hoped forgotten and done with. But then, memory can also be the "Balm of We see faces and hear voices that break our hearts with blessed remembering and they lift our spirit with the joy of those days which will not come again. Then theres a lullaby that brings tears of nostalgia to my eyes, for each time I hear it I am holding my babies again in my arms, rocking and crooning them to sleep.
