A wedding breakfast was held at Fort Douglas Country Club and a reception was given at the Heritage. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald K. Jennings and is a graduate of Murray high. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Heaps are the parents of the groom, who graduated from Brightom high, attended the University of Utah and graduated from Dixie College. He has filled an LDS mission in Alberta, Canada. Corinne Reynolds was maid of honor while Dolly Powel, Jill Thomas. Candi Hubbard and Angie Heaps were bridesmaids. Orin was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance for 34 years and after his retirement worked for the County Highway Dept, for 4 2 years. He served as chairman of the Civil Service Commission of Murray for 13 years and also filled many other civic offices. He was a member of the Utah Rangers Riding Club for more than 25 years and was them president from 1951-5He has served as an LDS bishop three different times, high councilman for 9 years, and Stake Patriarch for 21 years. Various other church offices were filled by Orin and he and Vanice served in So. Carolina and Georgia on a mission during 1980-81- . Milestone Deadlines book. Charles Michael Snyder, Jr. has been called to fill an LDS mission in Capetown, South Africa and will enter the training center on July 16. His farewell meeting will be held in the Hunter 3rd ward, 3737 S. 5600 West at 9 a. m. on July 20th. The future missionary is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Nielson of West Valley and an open house will be held at their home, 5275 W. 3500 South, following the meeting. E3fc.,W Troy is a graduate of Cyprus high. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Nielson of West Valley City and Vadis P. Johansen and the late Mrs. Johansen of Magna. His farewell meeting will be held in the Bennion 9th ward, at 1 p.m. on July 13th.
