The annual Academy Park elementary family night will be held from 4 : 30 to 7 : 30 Monday. All families in the area are being invited to participate in a fun-fille- d evening of cleaning, planting and picking up. A Fall Fun Carnival will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday elementary, 2010 at Taylorsville South. The activity will include a drawing for door prizes at 12:30. Foods available will include hot dogs, nachos, candy, snow cones and ice cream. The nationally-ranke- d Warrior cheerleaders have started winning competition already. After an awesome performance at the Olymthere was little pus game half-timdoubt in anyones mind how the cheerleaders would fare at the Raging Waters competition. The Warriors did an excellent routine in spite of the fact that Cori Montoya, one of the key stunters in the routine, had unknowingly fractured her elbow while warming up moments before the competition. What a trooper. We all hope Cori has a seedy healing. Congratulations to Granger high and Roy high who took a consecutive second and third in the heated competition. Our officer wall should now be complete with the addition of the new pictures of Sophomore officers. This should put a swing in Mr. Johnstons step.
