For info call SANDY 1 - Children Slate Folk Musical The children of St. Francis Xavier Catholic church will present the folk musical Zack Jr., Sunday at 10:40 a.m. in the parish social hall. The production will be a benefit to raise funds for a new piano for the new church building, and donations of 50 cents are being suggested. The play tells the story of Zack Jr., son of Zacchaeus, the biblical tax collector, his tree house and his friends. Sister Marilyn Mark and the Eva Moreno are production, with Linda Wallis as accompanist and Sean Chase as percussionist. Cast members include David Davis as Zack; Michael Haddow, his little brother, Cy; Cathy Sefren, Miriam; Becky Frank, Joel; along with Denece Taylor, Stacey Frank, Charlene Rodriguez, Shelly Haddow, Theresa Fox, JoAnn Jorgensen and Melanie Davis. t The group will perform in other locations by request. Some of Utahs prettiest young ladies will display a variety of talent at the Utah State Fair Queen Pageant today (Thursday) in the Grandstand on the State Fairgrounds. While preliminary talent and evening gown competition took place last night (Wednesday), the finals competition starts at 9:30 a.m. today in the Grandstand. No admission will be charged to enter the fairgrounds and the event is free to the public. Winner of the contest will be named Miss Utah State Fair and will reign over all activities of the fair following her coronation. She will also present the crown to her successor at next years state fair. Three attendants will be chosen as Miss Personality and two other contestants will be awards. selected for Gina Larsen, last years Miss Utah State Fair Queen, went on to become Miss Utah and will represent Utah in the Miss America Pageant.
