They are the parents of one daughter, Joy Weber Brown, who lives in Sacramento, CA. They have four grandchildren and seven Della was born in Murray, an identical twin to Ella Tripp Mortenson, who is deceased. She graduated from Murray high and from the U of L' majoring in education. She taught school in the Jordan District following her graduation. Bill was born in Wisconsin, moved to Nebraska and came to Salt Lake in 1918. He is a professional musicial and played drums with the Evans Sisters where he met Della at a local dance. They courted for over two years and then Bill went to Spokane, Washington to work. Michelle Butler Trades Vows With Kevin Evans Michelle Butler and Kevin Evans exchanged wedding vows on Dec. 16th in Malibu, Los Angeles, Calif. She says she can still smell her grandmothers violet bed and is grateful for the acute awareness of odors which bring floods of memories of her long, active life. She is able to put to rest forever the theory that family camping came into being with the R.V.s of todays generation. Marval tells of wonderful summers spent in Ogden Canyon with her family along with frineds near by in similar camps. When school closed, her father moved his family to the canyon and set up their camp. Large pieces of burlap were stretched around trees to form the perimeter of their family camp. Inside this enclosure tents with wooden floors were set up with beds, stoves, furniture and utensils to make for adequate, though not living. A wagon traveled the road bet- - iMMJt It She has filled many positions in the LDS church, is a member of the Murray Womens club, Cottonwood DUP, visiting R.S. teacher and an employee at Osborne apparel mfg. for 14 years where she was inspector Marval Cox? Marval was born in Pocatello, Idaho on Christmas 1894, the oldest of six children born to Egbert Chapman and Edna Pratt Eldredge Stratford. When she was a she and her mother moved to Ogden to stay with her grandparents while her father served an LDS mission in England. Fond memories of those childhood days include the special feeling she has toward her Grandma Stratford. There was always a cookie for Marval and she was allowed to pick a rose from Grandmas rose garden each time she visited in the summer.
