Although it has been 28 years since Henning and Inge Hoj came to America from Denmark, they still are keeping alive the warm Christmas traditions of their hospitable native country. Like a true Danish hostess, Mrs Hoj (pronounced hoy) wouldnt think of having guests come into her home during the holidays (or any other time) without offering some delicious refreshments. There is an almost constant aroma wafting from her oven, and many a buttery cookie or hot Danish pastry waiting to be shared. ... EQUAL BILLING "I should have put an American flag on top," Inge Hoj says as she strings tiny Danish flags on her Christmas tree. Hearty Scandinavian practices have been continued over the years by her and her family, with the first harbinger of their season being the Advent wreath.
