Show 3B THE GREEN SHEET Thursday, August 23, 1984 Goodro And Morris Joined In Ceremonies A wedding breakfast at the Lion House followed a double-rin- g ceremony in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 15th which united Gregory James Goodro and Mary Elizabeth Morris in marriage. Later that evening at garden reception was given at the home of the grooms parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. James Goodro, Sandy. The bride Is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald 0. Morris, West Valley. She is a graduate of Granger high and also graduated from the Bryman School medical assisting program. The groom is a graduate of Brighton high and is attending Brigham Young University. He has filled an LDS mission to Bogota, Columbia. Harry and Orpha Mr and Mrs Harry N. Harry was born in Bingham to George W. and Violet Ray Neff and raised in Sandy. Drpha was born in West Jordan to John M. Roy and Carrie Geisler Stocking and was raised in the Salt Lake County area. They were married August 18, 1934 in Sandy and lived there for a short time before they moved to Midvale and they have resided in this home ever since. On October 7, 1968 they had their marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have three children: Joyce D. Hilton, Bountiful; Wendell C., West Valley; and Wayne J., Plain City, Utah. They have 14 grandchildren and four During the early years of their marriage Harry worked for the U.S. and American Smelters in Midvale and Murray. From there he went to work as diesel mechanic at Fort Douglas and later worked for Remington Arms during the war. In 1945 he started work for American Oil as a diesel mechanic Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Parrish and continued working for them un1967 in retirement his til early brought on by a serious heart attack. Orpha worked for about six months for Remington Arms and a few months for Auerbachs. In 1954 she went to work for Grand Central Stores and worked for them for 27 , years. She 4s now also retired. Attending the bride as maids of honor were Holly Rondas and Chris Day, with Markie Fair and Camie Goodro as other attendants. Attending the guest book was Debbie Neslen. Kurt Goodro, Bryce Fair, Billy Rieser, Tyler Goodro and Kory Rieser ushered. Provo will be home for the newlyweds following a honeymoon to Hawaii. Hosting parties were Beth Black, Leann Isom, Edith Mayhue, Becky Black and Debbie Neslen. Century Marked By Horace Cutler An open house will be held at the Golden Manor nursing home in Granger to celebrate the 100th birthday anniversary of Horace Cutler. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p m. and friends and relatives of the honored man are invited to attend. He was born in Fredonia, Arizona on August 31st 1884, the son of Morton Brigham and Artemesia Foote Cutler, and raised in the small town of Glendale in Kane County, Utah. One of eight children of a polygamous marriage; his mother was the second wife, and the sister of the first wife who had 12 children. Both women were deaf. Together he and Mane Sorensen, who is deceased, had six children he has one surviving daughter, from his first marriage, Elva Hopkmson of Salt Lke; two stepchildren, Clyde Cutler of Magna and Helen Bullock of Salt Lake; and Morton Brigham Cutler of Magna, the only child of his second marriage. Two other sons are also deceased. He has 16 grandchildren and numberous great grandchildren.
