Touch Of Elegance Hosted By Epsilon Sigma Alpha Alpha Mu Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International is hosting a Touch of Elegance fashion show, luncheon and boutique on Saturday, April 30 at the White House Reception Center, 10575 Redwood Road. The boutique sale will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch at llfcm J9t 11:30 a.m. Models will show the latest fashions and the show will be narrated by Barbara Christensen. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Easter Seal Society of Utah. Cost is $7 per person. The BangerterMcArthur family all were born and still live in the western part of our valley which was wide open farmland not too many years ago but now is the heart and much of the business area of West Valley City. I1 0(( Stays I Relaxing of people think they cant garden because they have no ground to plant in. Another group thinks its too difficult and tiring. Nothing could be farther from the truth. You dont need an acre or so to get things to grow and one most attractive plant for your window or patio is the common potato. You no doubt have one already in your cupboard or storage place that is starting to sprout and you think all you can do is throw it in the trash. Dont do that. Plant it in a container, snuggle it down nicely with soil, water it and watch it grow into a nice vine. Many common vegetables can be used the same way, namely, carrots, parsnips and even the top off a whole pineapple. In fact, these last named ones will grow well if kept in shallow bowls of water.
