S Open House - Cloyd Browns Note 6 0th Anniversary The children and grandchildren of Cloyd and Gladys Brown will honor their parents and grandparents at an open house on February 14th, at Millie Oberhansley Bernard was named for the western area and Elna Jensen Klrkham for the east. Gladys is now retired from Granite School District where she was secretary at Plymouth Elementary and Valley Jr. high for about 20 years. The Browns are active members of the LDS church and have held various positions at both ward and stake levels. They have resided in Taylorsville 1st ward their entire married life. Cloyd served with the bishopric, ward clerk, 2nd counselor, high council and with the senior Aaronic program. Gladys served in various positions of the Relief Society. The honored couple have four children. They are: Leland J., Murray; Belva Tye and Larry D. of Murray. Clair Eugene is deceased. They have 25 grandchildren and 18 Wedding Vows Exchanged By Cyprus Grads, Debbie Jean Rushton, Russell Dangerfield February 4th was the date chosen for the double-rin- g wedding ceremony uniting Russell Dangerfield and Debbie Jean Rushton in marriage. The rites were performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A wedding breakfast was held at Andys Smorgasbord and later that same evening a reception was given at the Hunter Ward. Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Earl, of Hunter, and a graduate of Cyprus high. She attended Weber College and Utah State University and was counselor and assistant director of the Oak-creGirls Camp. st That kind of attitude makes a winner, and, some future year, the name of that young lass will no doubt be on the top of the list when the Green Sheet's Woman of the Year is announced. People like that just can't be losers. Murray DUP Camp and Mrs. James J. Vila of West Valley and is a graduate of Granger high. She attended the University of Utah and was a past honored queen of Bethel 10 Jobs Daughters. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schmidt of Sherman Oaks, California and attended the University of Utah. Mary Ann Grosslight was matron of honor and Guy Prevost performed the duties of best man. Dick sister, Mary Ann andCalifor- Grosslight in Playa Del Rey, nia on January 15th. A wedding dinner was held at the home of the grooms parents and a brunch was given at the Grosslights home following the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. The Murray Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 1760 is having a ham dinner and all proceeds will go to the Jimmy Durante Childrens Fund for the handicapped children. The dinner will be held on Feb. 20th between the hours of 3 to 6 p.m. Price will be $2.50 for children and $4 for adults. The public is invited.
