Six In Stake - New Jordan Ward Formed GRANGER, A new Jordan 1st ward has been organized from a division of Jordan North 15th ward and brings the number of wards in Jordan stake to six. Jordan 1st ward was formed from the south end of the former ward boundaries and covers the area between 4400 South to 4700 South, from 3800 to 4000 West. Named bishop of the new ward was W. Kent Thatcher, formerly clerk in the 15th ward. His counselors are Gary Allred and Gary James. Named ward clerk was Dave Jones, with Ken Taylor as assistant clerk. Dave Christensen is executive secretary. Sustained as the new Relief Society pres- idency were Cris Tres-cot- t, Diana Fisher and Janet Labrum, with Annette Jones as secre- tary. Remaining as the bishopric of the 15th newly-aligne- d ward are Rex Taylor, Ron Taylor and Roger Wilson. The new ward will meet In the east building of the stake. Neil Simons Chapter Two will continue its run at Pioneer Memorial Theatre through Jan. 31. The play, which was recently a successful motion picture, is performed nightly except Sundays at 8. It isnt until Leo comes up with Jennie Malone that a glimmer of success is achieved. Still, it is a rocky road for the lovers. In an hilarious subplot, Leo has a fling with Jennies friend, Faye. Former UofU student Madelon Thomas returns from New York to play Jennie. While a student she played many roles and has returned twice to PMT to play lead roles in The Misanthrope and Miracle Worker. She has performed extensively in the East and is currently presenshow ting a that she developed from the letters and poetry of n Edna St. Vincent Millay. Craig Richard Nelson plays Leo. He is also a former UofU student who has been working in Los Angeles and New York for the several years. past His credits include Broadway productions and television programs, the Carol Burnett Show and The Rookies.
