The Pioneers will get a chance to defend their 2-A footballtitle IF they can defeat Richfield in Friday's semifinal game. That game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Snow College in Ephraim. “Richfield throws theball well,” said Lehi’s Lou Andrus. ‘They have a good quarterback in Kenny Munk and they have somegood receivers in Kendall Willardson and Chad Kiesel, their tight end. We'll have to watch their buttonhooks and we'll haveto be careful of their deep patterns. “From watching thefilms,I think they can be run on,” Andrussaid. “‘And welike to run although we mixed it up better than we had when webeat San Juan last week. “We've been looking forward to playing Richfield for a long time,” Andrussaid. “I thinkit’s going to be a fun, exciting game. I’m blad we're going to be playing at a college. I think that’s where playoff gamesshould be played.
